حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَدِّي عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ صَفْوَانَ فِي إِمَارَةِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ حَفْصَةَ تَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيَأْتِيَنَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ رَكْبٌ يَغْزُونَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ خُسِفَ بِأَوْسَطِهِمْ فَيُنَادِي أَوَّلُهُمْ آخِرَهُمْ فَلَا يَبْقَى مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا الشَّرِيدُ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُ عَنْهُمْ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لِجَدِّي فَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ لَمْ تَكْذِبْ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ وَلَمْ تَكْذِبْ حَفْصَةُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَكَانَ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنْ أُمَيَّةَ

Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: “A company will surely come to this House to raid it, until when they are in a desert of the land, the middle of them will be swallowed up, and the first of them will call out to the last of them, and none of them will remain except the fugitive who tells about them.” A man said to my grandfather: I bear witness that you have not lied about Hafsah, and Hafsah did not lie about the Messenger of God ﷺ. Sufyan said: And Umayr b. Qays used to narrate it from Umayyah.
