✧ The skin of the Prophet ﷺ and the companions of the false accusation

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ

ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ «أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ يَعْنِي اللُّعَبِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكُنَّ صَوَاحِبِي يَجِئْنَ فَيَنْقَمِعْنَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَرِّبُهُنَّ فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي»

✧ Abd Allah b. Maslama al-Qa'nabi narrated to us: Hisham b. Urwa narrated to me from his father, from Aisha, that she used to play with dolls—meaning toys—in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. My friends would come and hide from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would send them to me so they could play with me.
