حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا شَبَابٌ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ قَالَ

«كَانَتْ سَنَةَ سِتٍّ مِنَ الْهِجْرَةِ كَانَتْ غَزْوَةَ بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ وَفِي هَذِهِ الْغَزَاةِ قَالَ أَهْلُ الْإِفْكِ فِي عَائِشَةَ مَا قَالُوا وَنَزَلَ فِيهَا الْقُرْآنُ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ} » الْآيَاتِ

Translation

✧ “It was in the year six of the Hijrah, the expedition of Banu al-Mustaliq. In this expedition, the people of falsehood said about Aisha what they said, and the Quran was revealed concerning her: {Indeed, those who came with falsehood...} the verses.”
