حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ

«كَانَتْ غَزْوَةَ بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ فِي شَعْبَانَ سَنَةَ سِتٍّ وَفِي تِلْكَ الْغَزْوَةِ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِعَائِشَةَ مَعَهُ أَقْرَعَ بَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ فَخَرَجَ سَهْمُهَا وَفِي تِلْكَ الْغَزْوَةِ قَالَ فِيهَا أَهْلُ الْإِفْكِ مَا قَالُوا فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ بَرَاءَتَهَا»

✧ “The expedition of Banu al-Mustaliq was in Sha'ban of the year six. In that expedition, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took Aisha with him after drawing lots among his wives, and her lot came out. In that expedition, the people of falsehood said what they said about her, and Allah ﷻ sent down her innocence.”
