✧ Interpretation of His statement {And let not those of virtue among you and wealth hesitate [to give]}. Surah al-Nur ayah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ

عَنِ الْكَلْبِيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا} «إِنَّمَا عُنِيَ بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَمَّا مَنْ رَمَى امْرَأَةً مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَهُوَ فَاسِقٌ كَمَا قَالَ اللهُ أَوْ يَتُوبُ»

✧ From al-Kalbi regarding His saying: {Indeed, those who accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed} "This verse specifically refers to the wives of the Prophet ﷺ. As for whoever accuses a Muslim woman, he is an evildoer, as Allah said, or he may repent."
