حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّيْمِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِأُسَامَةَ فِي شَأْنِ عَائِشَةَ لَمَّا رُمِيَتْ بِالْإِفْكِ «مَا تَقُولُ أَنْتَ؟» فَقَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Usamah regarding the affair of 'A'ishah when she was accused of the slander, "What do you say?" He said, "Glory be to Allah! It is not lawful for us to speak of this. Glory be to You! This is a great slander."
