حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ «تَقَدَّمُوا» ثُمَّ قَالَ «تَعَالِ حَتَّى أُسَابِقَكِ» فَسَابَقْتُهُ فَسَبَقْتُهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ مَعَهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي سَفَرٍ وَقَدْ جَمَعْتُ اللَّحْمَ فَنَزَلْنَا مَنْزِلًا فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ «تَقَدَّمُوا» ثُمَّ قَالَ «تَعَالِ حَتَّى أُسَابِقَكِ» فَسَابَقْتُهُ فَسَبَقَنِي فَضَرَبَ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ وَقَالَ «هَذِهِ بِتِلْكَ»

✧ I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and he stopped at a place. He said to his companions, “Go ahead.” Then he said, “Come, so I can race you.” So I raced him and I beat him. Later, I went out with him on another journey after I had put on weight. We stopped at a place, and he said to his companions, “Go ahead.” Then he said, “Come, so I can race you.” So I raced him, and he beat me. He struck me between my shoulders and said, “This is for that.”
