✧ Aisha bt. Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَصِينٍ الْقَاضِي وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا شَرِيكُ عَنْ مُطِيعٍ الْغَزَّالِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

اسْتَأْذَنَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَذِهِ عِنْدَكَ؟ قَالَ «عَائِشَةُ» قَالَ فَأَقْرِئْهَا مِنِّي السَّلَامَ قَالَ «بَخٍ بَخٍ يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ»

✧ Jibril asked permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ. He said, 'Who is this with you?' He said, 'Aisha.' He said, 'Convey to her greetings of peace from me.' He said, 'Excellent, excellent, O Aisha, this is Jibril, he conveys greetings of peace to you.'
