✧ The Marriage of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Khadijah, Her Age, Her Death, and Some of Her Stories

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ وَيَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سَبْعٍ وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ ومَاتَ عَنْهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her when she was seven and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine, and he died leaving her when she was eighteen.
