al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 19394

✧ Umm Kulthum bt. Rasul Allah ﷺ passed away during his lifetime.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَنٍ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ قَالَ

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ وَهِيَ فِي مَرَضِهَا الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَتْ فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهَا «بِالْكُرْهِ مِنِّي مَا الَّذِي أَرَى مِنْكِ يَا خَدِيجَةُ وَقَدْ يَجْعَلُ اللهُ فِي الْكُرْهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا أَمَا عَلِمْتِ أَنَّ اللهَ زَوَّجَنِي مَعَكِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتَ عِمْرَانَ وَكُلْثَمَ أُخْتَ مُوسَى وَآسِيَةَ امْرَأَةَ فِرْعَوْنَ؟» قَالَتْ وَقَدْ فَعَلَ اللهُ ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قَالَتْ بِالرِّفَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Khadijah during her final illness and said to her: “What I see of you grieves me, O Khadijah, but Allah may bring much good out of what grieves (you). Do you know that Allah has married me along with you in Paradise to Maryam bint ʿImran, Kulthum the sister of Musa, and Asiyah the wife of Pharaoh?” She said, “Has Allah done that, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Yes.” She said, “May it be with harmony and children.”
