✧ The Marriage of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Khadijah, Her Age, Her Death, and Some of Her Stories

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ دِعَامَةَ قَالَ

«تُوُفِّيَتْ خَدِيجَةُ بِمَكَّةَ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ آمَنَ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالرِّجَالِ وَلَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ غَيْرَهَا وَلَمْ تَلِدْ لَهُ مِنَ الْمَهَايِرِ غَيْرُهَا»

✧ “Khadijah died in Makkah three years before the Hijrah. She was the first of the women and men to believe in the Prophet ﷺ. He married no other woman in the pre-Islamic period, and none of his children came from any woman but her.”
