حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا سِمَاكٌ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا فَمَنْ نَبَّأَكَ أَنَّهُ يَخْطُبُ جَالِسًا أَوْ قَاعِدًا فَقَدْ كَذَبَ فَقَدْ وَاللهِ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَلْفَيْ مَرَّةً»

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ The Prophet ﷺ would deliver the sermon standing, then sit, then stand and deliver the sermon standing. Whoever tells you that he delivered the sermon sitting or seated has lied. By Allah, I prayed with him more than two thousand times.
