حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

دَخَلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ فَرَآهَا قَدِ اكْتَحَلَتْ وَلَبِسَتْ صَبِيغًا يَعْنِي فِي حَجِّهِمْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهَا مَنْ أَمَرَكِ بِهَذَا؟ قَالَتْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فَانْطَلَقْتُ مُحَرِّشًا عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ مُسْتَفْتِيًا لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَدَقَتْ صَدَقَتْ»

✧ Ali b. Abi Talib entered upon Fatimah and saw that she had applied kohl and worn dyed clothing, meaning during their Hajj with the Prophet ﷺ. He said to her, "Who ordered you to do this?" She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ." Ali said, "I went off incensed against Fatimah, seeking a ruling from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'She has spoken truly, she has spoken truly.'"
