Biography of Fatima bt. Muhammad and Her Virtues

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ
«تُوُفِّيَتْ فَاطِمَةُ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ ثَمَانٍ وَعِشْرِينَ وَكَانَ مَوْلِدُهَا وَقُرَيْشُ تَبْنِي الْكَعْبَةَ وَبَنَتْ قُرَيْشٌ الْكَعْبَةَ قَبْلَ مَبْعَثِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ وَسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَأَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ عَشَرَ سِنِينَ بَعْدَ مَبْعَثِهِ ثُمَّ هَاجَرَ فَأَقَامَ عَشْرًا ثُمَّ عَاشَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بَعْدَهُ سِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَتُوُفِّيَتْ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ مِنَ الْهِجْرَةِ»

✧ Fatimah died when she was twenty-eight years old. Her birth was when Quraysh were building the Kaaba. Quraysh built the Kaaba seven years and six months before the Prophet's ﷺ mission. The Prophet ﷺ stayed in Makkah for ten years after his mission, then he emigrated and stayed ten years. Then Fatimah lived after him six months and died in the year eleven of the Hijrah.
