✧ From Abu Wahb al-Jushami, who was a Companion: He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Name yourselves with the names of the prophets. The most beloved of names to God are Abdullah and Abd al-Rahman, and the truest of them are Harith and Hammam, and the ugliest of them are Harb and Murrah. Tether horses, wipe their forelocks and hindquarters – or he said their flanks – and put garlands on them, but do not put bowstrings as garlands. Upon you are every dark bay with a blaze and white stockings, or a chestnut with a blaze and white stockings, or a black with a blaze and white stockings.'
