حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ النَّحْوِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْيَحْصِبِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي رَائِطَةَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ الْمَذْحِجِيِّ قَالَ
كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «الْقَوْمُ سَفْرَى لَا يَصْحَبَنَّكُمْ خِلَالٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ النَّعَمِ يَعْنِي الضَّوَالَّ وَلَا يَصْحَبَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ ضَالَّةً وَلَا يَرُدَّنَّ سَائِلًا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُرِيدُونَ الرِّبْحَ وَالسَّلَامَةَ وَلَا يَصْحَبَنَّكُمْ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ سَاحِرٌ وَلَا سَاحِرَةٌ وَلَا كَاهِنٌ وَلَا كَاهِنَةٌ وَلَا مُنَجِّمٌ وَلَا مُنَجَّمَةٌ وَلَا شَاعِرٌ وَلَا شَاعِرَةٌ وَإِنَّ كُلَّ عَذَابٍ يُرِيدُ اللهُ أَنْ يُعَذِّبَ بِهِ أَحَدًا مِنْ عِبَادِهِ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْعَثُ بِهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَأَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ عِشَاءً»

✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "A group of people will travel without having any company from these blessings, meaning a camel or anything. No one among you should be accompanied by a stray person, and no one should turn away a seeker if you seek profit and safety. No one should be accompanied by someone from the people if you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day. There will be no sorcerer or sorceress, no fortune-teller or fortune-telling woman, no astrologer or astrologer woman, and no poet or poetess. If Allah wants to punish any of His servants, He sends him to the lower heaven. Therefore, abstain from disobeying Allah in the evening."
