حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ ثنا حُكَّامُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ قَالَا ثنا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَسَدِيُّ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ يَمْلِكُونَ رِقَابَكُمْ وَيُحَدِّثُونَكُمْ فَيَكْذِبُوا لَكُمْ وَيَعْمَلُونَ فَيُسِيئُونَ لَا يَرْضَوْنَ مِنْكُمْ حَتَّى تُحَسِّنُوا قَبِيحَهُمْ وَتُصَدِّقُوا كَذِبَهُمْ فَأَعْطُوهُمُ الْحَقَّ مَا رَضُوا بِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There will be rulers over you who will take control of your necks and speak to you, and they will lie to you; they will act and do wrong. They will not be pleased with you until you deem their ugly deeds good and believe their lies. So give them their due as long as they are content with it.”
