حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ الْأَنْمَارِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أُمَّتِي أَرْبَعَةٌ رَجُلٌ أُعْطِيَ مَالًا فَأَنْفَقَهُ فِي طَاعَةِ اللهِ فَرَآهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ لَوْ كَانَ لِي مِثْلُ مَالِهِ صَنَعْتُ فِيهِ مِثْلَ مَا صَنَعَ فَهُمَا فِي الْأَجْرِ سَوَاءٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “My community is four types: a man given wealth and he spends it in obedience to Allah. Another man sees him and says, ‘If I had wealth like his, I would do with it as he did.’ They are equal in reward.”
