حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ الشَّامِيِّ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ وأَبَا صِرْمَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَقُولُانِ أَصَبْنَا سَبَايَا فِي غَزْوَةِ بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ وَهِيَ الْغَزْوَةُ الَّتِي أَصَابَ فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ وَكَانَ مِنَّا مَنْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ أَهْلًا وَمِنَّا مَنْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسْتَمْتِعَ ثُمَّ نَبِيعُ فَتَرَاجَعْنَا فِي الْعَزْلِ وَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَعْزِلُوا فَإِنَّ اللهَ قَدَّرَ مَا هُوَ خَالِقٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ That he heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri and Abu Sirmah al-Ansari both saying: "We captured some female captives during the expedition of Banu al-Mustaliq—that is the expedition in which the Messenger of God ﷺ obtained Juwayriyah bt. al-Harith. Among us were those who wanted to take them as wives, and among us were those who wanted to enjoy them and then sell them. We discussed withdrawal (coitus interruptus) and mentioned that to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: 'It does not matter if you do not practice withdrawal, for God has decreed whatever He is creating until the Day of Resurrection.'"
