حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قِيرَاطٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنَ حَلْبَسٍ قَالَ

خَرَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي سَعْدِ الْخَيْرِ إِلَى شِرَاءِ الضَّحَايَا فَأَشَارَ إِلَى كَبْشٍ لَهُ لَحْمٌ لَيْسَ بِالْمُرْتَفِعِ وَلَا الْمُتَّضِعِ قَالَ «اشْتَرِ هَذَا فَإِنَّهُ يُشْبِهُ كَبْشَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

✧ I went out with Abu Sa'd al-Khayr to buy sacrificial animals. He pointed to a ram that had flesh, neither too tall nor too short, and said: "Buy this one, for it resembles the ram of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
