حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ جَارِيَةً مِنْ خَيْبَرَ مَرَّتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ مُجِحٍّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لِمَنْ هَذِهِ؟» قَالُوا لِفُلَانٍ قَالَ «أَيَطَؤُهَا؟» قِيلَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «فَكَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ بِوَلَدِهَا؟ أَيَدَّعِيهِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ بِوَلَدٍ أَمْ يَسْتَعْبِدُهُ وَهُوَ يَغْدُو فِي سَمْعِهِ وَبَصَرِهِ؟ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَلْعَنَهُ لَعْنَةً تَدْخُلُ مَعَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ»

✧ A slave girl from Khaybar passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while she was pregnant. The Prophet ﷺ said: "To whom does she belong?" They said: "To so-and-so." He said: "Does he have intercourse with her?" It was said: "Yes." He said: "Then what will he do with her child? Will he claim it as his when it is not his child, or will he enslave it while it grows up in his hearing and sight? I have considered cursing him with a curse that would enter with him into his grave."
