حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ

عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ اسْتُشْهِدَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ يَزِيدُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ جَمَحَ بِهِ فَرَسٌ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْجَنَاحُ فَقَتَلَهُ

Translation

✧ From Muhammad b. Ishaq, in the naming of those who were martyred on the Day of Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from the Quraysh, then from the Banu Asad: Yazid b. Zam'ah b. al-Aswad b. al-Muttalib. A horse of his called al-Janah bolted with him and killed him.
