حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَا ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ
أَنَّهُ غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْبَرَ وَالنَّاسُ جِيَاعٌ فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا حُمُرًا مِنْ حُمُرِ الْإِنْسِ فَذَبَحَ النَّاسُ مِنْهَا فَحَدَّثَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ فَأَذَّنَ فِي النَّاسِ إِنَّ لُحُومَ الْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ لِمَنْ لَا يَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ فَكَفُوا قُدُورَهُمْ بِمَا فِيهَا وَوَجَدُوا فِي جِنَانِهَا بَصَلًا وَثُومًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبْنَا» وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَحِلُّ النُّهْبَةُ وَلَا يَحِلُّ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ كُلُّ ذِي نَابٍ وَلَا تَحِلُّ الْمُجَثَّمَةُ»

✧ He raided Khaybar with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while the people were hungry. He found domestic donkeys there, so the people slaughtered some of them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed, so he ordered 'Abd al-Rahman, who announced among the people: "The meat of domestic donkeys is for the one who does not bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah." So they overturned their pots with what was in them. They found onions and garlic in their gardens. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever eats from this plant should not come near us." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Plunder is not lawful, nor is any predator with fangs lawful, nor is the mujaththamah lawful."
