حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ رَفَعَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ مَرَّةً وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ أُخْرَى «إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُعْجِزُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ مِنْ نِصْفِ يَوْمٍ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الشَّامَ مَائِدَةَ رَجُلٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ تُفْتَحُ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةُ»

Translation

✧ On the authority of Abu Tha'laba, he raised it: Mu'awiya once [raised it] and another time did not raise it: "Indeed, Allah will not let this Ummah be unable [to hold out] for half a day. And when you see the Levant as a man's dining table and his household, then at that point Constantinople will be conquered."
