حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ هِنْدَ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَ

بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى قَوْمِي مِنْ أَسْلَمَ فَقَالَ «مُرْ قَوْمَكَ فَلْيَصُومُوا هَذَا الْيَوْمَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتَهُ قَدْ أَكَلَ مِنْهُمْ فِي أَوَّلِ يَوْمِهِ فَلْيَصُمْ آخِرَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to my people of Aslam and said: “Command your people to fast this day, the day of Ashura. Whoever among them you find has already eaten in the first part of his day, let him fast the rest of it.”
