حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ جَائِزَتُهُ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُ أَنْ يَثْوِيَ عِنْدَ صَاحِبِهِ حَتَّى يُخْرِجَهُ الضِّيَافَةُ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَمَا أَنْفَقَ بَعْدُ عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest. His reward is a day and a night, and it is not lawful for him to stay with his companion until he turns him out. Hospitality is three [days], and whatever he spends on him after that is charity."
