✧ I heard Abu Qilabah: In the time of Ibn Ziyad, people used to take dinars for dirhams on credit. A man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ called Hisham b. 'Amir stood and said: 'Indeed, the Messenger of God ﷺ forbade selling gold for silver on credit, and he informed us that that is riba.'
