حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ح

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ويُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ قَدِمَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْبَصْرَةَ فَوَجَدَهُمْ يَتَبَايَعُونَ الذَّهَبَ فِي أُعْطِيَاتِهِمْ فَقَامَ فَقَالَ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالْوَرِقِ نَسِيئَةً وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَنَّ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الرِّبَا» وَاللَّفْظُ لِسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ

✧ Abu Muslim al-Kashshi and Yusuf al-Qadi narrated to us; they said: Sulayman b. Harb narrated to us; they said: Hammad b. Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, who said: Hisham b. 'Amir came to Basra and found them exchanging gold in their stipends. He stood and said: 'The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade selling gold for silver on credit, and he informed us that that is riba.' The wording is that of Sulayman b. Harb.
