حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ قَالَ

كَانَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ يَرَى رِجَالًا يَتَخَطُّونَهُ إِلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ وَإِلَى غَيْرِهِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّكُمْ تَتَخَطُّونَ إِلَى رِجَالٍ لَمْ يَكُونُوا أَحْضَرَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنِّي وَلَا أَدْعَى لِحَدِيثِهِ مِنِّي وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا بَيْنَ خَلْقِ آدَمَ إِلَى أَنَّ تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ فِتْنَةٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ»

✧ Hishām b. 'Āmir saw men stepping over him to 'Imrān b. Husayn and to others among the companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ, so he said: "You step over to men who were not more present with the Messenger of God ﷺ than I, nor more called upon for his hadith than I. I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'Between the creation of Adam and the rising of the Hour, there is no trial greater than the trial of the Dajjāl.'"
