حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ طَعَامِ النَّصَارَى فَقَالَ «لَا يَحِيكَنَّ فِي صَدْرِكَ طَعَامٌ ضَارَعْتَ فِيهِ النَّصْرَانِيَّةَ» قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَضَعُ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى

Translation

✧ I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the food of the Christians. He said: “Let no food resemble Christianity in your chest.” He said: “And I saw him placing one of his hands over the other.”
