حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ مُبَشِّرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الدَّوَابَّ مَنَابِرَ» وَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ شَرَّ هَذِهِ السِّبَاعِ الثَّعْلُ يَعْنِي الثَّعْلَبَ»

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “Do not use animals as pulpits.” And I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “The worst of these beasts of prey is the fox.”
