حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْأَدْنَى ثنا الْمُسَيِّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وَحْشِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبِ بْنِ وَحْشِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

لَمَّا أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ قَتَلِ حَمْزَةَ تَفَلَ فِي وَجْهِي ثَلَاثَ تَفِلَاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَا تُرِنِي وَجْهَكَ»

  3. Ibn Abū Hurayrah al-Ḥimṣī
  4. And Ḥshī b. Ḥarb b. Waḥshī from his father from his grandfather

✧ When I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after the killing of Hamzah, he spat in my face three times, then said, "Do not let me see your face."
