حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُوحٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَوْدِيِّ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَقَامَ بِلَالٌ فَأَذَّنَ فَجَعَلَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ يَسْتَدِيرُ وَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ فَفَضَلَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَضْلَةٌ فَجَعَلْنَا نَبْتَدِرُ فَضْلَهُ ثُمَّ أخْرَجَ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِذَا قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَأْتُونِي وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ جَعَلَ لَنَا شَيْئًا يُعْطِيَنَا فَسَلَّمَهُ لَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ »

✧ We came to the Messenger of God ﷺ when the prayer was due, and Bilal stood up and called the adhan, placing his fingers in his ears and turning around. The Messenger of God ﷺ was brought water for ablution, and he performed ablution along with his companions, and some water remained, so we began to rush for the leftover water. Then he brought out a spear and planted it, and he commenced the prayer, then prayed Zuhr two rak'ahs and Asr two rak'ahs. Then he said, "When I arrive in Madinah, come to me." The Prophet ﷺ had allotted something for us to give us, and Abu Bakr ؓ handed it over to us.
