حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّى ثنا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ عِيسَى بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَأْتِي كَاهِنًا فَيَسْأَلُهُ إِلَّا حُجِبَتْ مِنْهُ التَّوْبَةُ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ هُوَ آمَنَ بِمَا يَقُولُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ بِاللهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No man goes to a fortune-teller and asks him anything except that repentance is withheld from him for forty nights. If he believes what the fortune-teller says, then he has disbelieved in Allah."
