حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ بْنِ مُطَيَّبٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ قَالَ ثنا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ

لَمَّا أَسْلَمْتُ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لِي «اذْهَبْ فَاغْتَسَلْ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَلْقِ عَنْكَ شَعْرَ الْكُفْرِ»

✧ When I embraced Islam, I came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said to me, “Go and wash with water and lote leaves, and remove the hair of disbelief from yourself.”
