حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ شَابُورٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُعْطِيتُ السَّبْعَ الطُّوَلَ مَكَانَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَأُعْطِيتُ الْمَثَانِيَ مَكَانَ الْإِنْجِيلِ وَأُعْطِيتُ الْمِئِينَ مَكَانَ الزَّبُورِ وَفُضِّلْتَ بِالْمُفَصَّلِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I was given the seven long surahs in place of the Torah, I was given the Mathani in place of the Gospel, I was given the Mi’in in place of the Psalms, and you were favored with the Mufassal.”
