حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ سُمَيْدِعَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ بَاعَ عَيْبًا لَمْ يُبَيِّنْهُ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي مَقْتِ اللهِ» أَوْ قَالَ «لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَلْعَنُهُ»
