حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ثنا بَكَّارُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ وَهُوَ حِصْنٌ مِنْ حُصُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَكُلُّ عَمِلٍ لِصَاحِبِهِ إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Fasting is a shield and a fortress among the fortresses of the believer. Every deed is for its doer except fasting. Allah, exalted is He, says: 'Fasting is for Me, and I reward for it.'"
