حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا عَمَّارُ بْنُ مَطَرٍ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابَهُ فِي الشِّتَاءِ فَرَأَيْتُهُمْ فِي الْبَرَانِسِ وَالْأَكْسِيَةِ وَأَيْدِيهُمْ فِيهَا يَرْفَعُونَها إِلَى نُحُورِهِمْ أَوْ قَالَ إِلَى صُدُورِهِمْ

✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions in winter, and I saw them in hooded cloaks and wrappers, with their hands inside them, raising them to their throats — or he said, to their chests.
