حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءَ أَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ صَلَّى خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ فَلَمَّا أَنْ قَضَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ «مَنْ صَاحِبُ الْكَلِمَاتِ» ؟ قَالَ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَاللهِ مَا أَرَدْتُ بِهَا إِلَّا الْخَيْرَ قَالَ «لَقَدْ فُتِحَتْ لَهَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ فَمَا نَهْنَهَهَا شَيْءٌ دُونَ الْعَرْشِ»

✧ He prayed behind the Messenger of God ﷺ and heard a man say: 'Praise be to God, abundant, pure, blessed praise.' When the Prophet ﷺ finished his prayer, he said: 'Who is the owner of these words?' He said: 'I, O Messenger of God. By God, I intended nothing but good by them.' He said: 'The gates of heaven were opened for them, and nothing stopped them short of the Throne.'
