حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو السَّائِبِ مَوْلَى هِشَامِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ التَّيْمِيِّ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ يَقُولُ «خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا فَتَبَرَّزَ فَتَبِعْتُهُ بِإِدَاوَةٍ فَلَمَّا أَقْبَلَ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَعَلَيْهِ خُفَّانِ فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ»

✧ "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on a journey and encamped, then he went to relieve himself. I followed him with a water vessel, and when he came back I met him and poured water for him. He performed ablution, and he had on leather socks, so he wiped over them, then he prayed the morning prayer."
