حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْقَزَّازُ ثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ

«أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ كُفَّارٍ فَقَتَلَهُمَا وَسَلَبَهُمَا فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكَرِهَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الَّذِي صَنَعَ وَأَهْدَى لَهُ سَلَبَهُمَا فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ»

✧ "That he was with two men of his people who were disbelievers, and he killed them and took their spoils, then he came to the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ disapproved of what he had done, and he offered him their spoils, but he did not accept it."
