حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَآهُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيهِمْ قَالَ «مَا لَهُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيهِمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمُسٍ؟ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered the mosque and saw them raising their hands. He said: “What is the matter with them, raising their hands as if they were the tails of restive horses? Be still during the prayer.”
