حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَثَنًا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمَّا حَدَّثَ الشَّعْبِيُّ بِحَدِيثِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ
أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا عَمْرٍو وَمِنْ أَيْنَ كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ خُفَّانِ؟ قَالَ أَهْدَاهُمَا لَهُ دِحْيَةُ الْكَلْبِيُّ

✧ That he saw the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution and wipe over his leather socks. I said, 'O Abu 'Amr, and from where did the Prophet ﷺ have leather socks?' He said, 'Dihya al-Kalbi gave them to him as a gift.'
