حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُمْ رَافِعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ فَقَالَ «لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ رَفْعِهِمْ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ لَا تَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon them while they were raising their eyes, and he said: “Some people will surely stop raising their eyes to the sky during prayer, or their eyesight will not return to them.”
