حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْخَشَّابُ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَا ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
«قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى سُبَاطَةِ قَوْمٍ فَجِئْتُهُ بِمَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ رُومِيَّةٌ صَغِيرَةُ الْيَدَيْنِ فَأَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ مِنْ تَحْتِ تِلْكَ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up to a people's trash dump, and I brought him water. He performed ablution while wearing a Roman jubbah with short sleeves. He took his hand out from under that jubbah, washed his face, wiped his head, and wiped over his leather socks, then stood and prayed.
