حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
مَا سَأَلَ أَحَدٌ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا سَأَلْتُهُ أَنَا عَنْهُ يَعْنِي الدَّجَّالَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ لَا يَضُرُّكَ» قُلْتُ إِنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ مَعَهُ نَهْرًا وَكَذَا قَالَ «هُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ»

✧ No one asked the Prophet ﷺ about him—meaning the Dajjal—more than I did. He said, “He will not harm you.” I said, “They say that with him there is a river and such.” He said, “He is too insignificant to God for that.”
