حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ بَيَانٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ»

✧ We used to pray the noon prayer with the Prophet of God ﷺ in the midday heat. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to us: “Cool the prayer, for the intense heat is from the scorching breath of Hell.”
