حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ عَنْ كَاتَبِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ كَتَبَ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ يَسْأَلُهُ هَلْ
سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا يَقُولُ دُبُرَ الصَّلَاةِ؟ فَقَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ دُبُرَ الصَّلَاةِ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ»

✧ Did you hear the Messenger of God ﷺ say anything at the end of the prayer? Al-Mughira b. Shuʿba said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say at the end of the prayer: “There is no god but God alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable. O God, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the fortune of the fortunate avails nothing against You.”
