✧ About the last thing the Messenger of God ﷺ used to say, so he wrote to him that he would say after giving the salutation: “There is no god but God alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable. O God, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the fortune of the fortunate avails nothing against You,” after he had given the salutation to his right and to his left. He would give the salutation to his right until the whiteness of his right cheek was seen, and to his left until the whiteness of his left cheek was seen.
